Because of the 10th anniversary of Tulip Route Flevoland, there is a new fourth route this year: the Tulip Art Route. It will be on display from April 13 through May 4 at Suydersee Shopping Center in Dronten. What is behind this fourth route and how does it work?<\/p>\n
Tulip Route Flevoland would like to play a connecting role in our province, for example by strengthening the connection between city and countryside. This year, Tulip Route Flevoland also connects, through the tulip, with retailers and artists. Thanks to the active involvement of shopkeepers’ association Suydersee and many Flevoland artists, the realization of the Tulip Art Route in the city center of Dronten was made possible.<\/p>\n
It turns out that the colorful splendor of the tulip fields has also inspired the Flevoland artist community for years and that from their perspective, the tulip has many different faces. Because each tulip artwork also has its own individual source of inspiration, stemming from the artists’ own Flevoland home environment and history. All these different interpretations make the Tulip Art Route an exhibition of enormous variety.<\/p>\n

Still others praise the clean lines that make the sense of vastness right here, so immense. And more than one praises Flevoland’s “get involved” mentality. That cordial, open friendliness with which this project, too, came about and which many associate with the adventurous approach attitude of the pioneers.<\/p>\n Remco de Kluizenaar has made this “guided tour” a work of art in itself. There is lots of specially composed music and with his “young dog energy,” the stories voiced by The Hermit put a smile on your face.
