On Wednesday, December 17, some tulip bulbs went into the ground inAlmere! We offered these to Loes Jongen, project manager and center manager in Almere Centrum. It was a nice gift in honor of the 50th anniversary of the city. When planting, we got help from students ofPro-Almere, a school for practical education. The school has a theme week in which helping others is central. Most of the bulbs stand in a large flower box on the Station Square, and are planted in the shape of the number “50”. The launch of the tulip route coincides with the 50th anniversary of the city. The bulbs can also be found in other places in the center.
