April does as it pleases and so do the tulips: this year’s tulip bloom was early and short. By now, almost all fields have been capped. Therefore, Thursday, April 25, was the last day the car routes could be driven. The bike trails and hiking trail are also no longer accessible.
The Tulip Art Route in downtown Dronten will remain on display through Saturday, May 4. Enjoy tulip art in shop windows of entrepreneurs and listen to the stories behind these works with the app. Read all about this route on the information pages on this site.

Tulip Route Flevoland has been a household name in the Flevopolder for many years. Every year in April and May, our province turns into a patchwork of color as the tulip fields bloom.
Notice:
The bridge at Elburg is closed. This makes it impossible for cars to enter and exit the polder there.
Flevopolder’s most colorful event
Tulip Route Flevoland guarantees beautiful bicycle and car routes along numerous tulip fields in Eastern and Southern Flevoland. In April and May, this area fills with color as the tulip fields bloom.

Tulip Route
Flevoland 2024
The autoroute could be followed through April 25, as most of the tulips have now been budded. The bike trails and hiking trail are also closed. The wait is on again for the tulip fields of 2025!
The Tulip Art Route in downtown Dronten will remain open for visits through May 4.
Together with our volunteers, we work hard every year to create a new edition of this colorful festival of flowers. During this period, countless visitors from all over the country and the world will again flock to Flevoland to visit our fields. This event is made possible by our sponsors.

In 2024, the Tulip Route Flevoland will take place from April 7 through May 5. Together with our volunteers, we work hard every year to create a new edition of this colorful flower festival. During this period, countless visitors from all over the country and the world will again flock to Flevoland to visit our fields.
