The routes
Tulip Route Flevoland takes you through cycling, walking and driving routes along the most beautiful tulip fields in Flevoland. Below is information about our routes. The car routes have an audio tour.
The biking and hiking trails are free.
Note: dhe Tulip Route routes are open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you start your route within these times, you are most likely to find that all the stopping points and businesses along the route are open.
The route: experiencing it your way
You can follow the routes starting April 8. After that, it depends on how colorful the fields still are. For this, keep an eye on the growth chart on the home page.
With the cycling and hiking routes it is possible to set your own starting point. With the car routes we have a fixed starting point because this is also where the audio starts.

Autoroute EAST
Starting point: B&B De Kandelaar (Hoekwantweg 11, Biddinghuizen)

- This route leads you along the tulip fields in Eastern Flevoland, the oldest part of the Flevopolder. A varied area with many initiatives on farmers' farms. The route passes through Dronten and Biddinghuizen.
Autoroute WEST
Starting point: Fruithal Smits (Sterappellaan 29, Zeewolde)

- This route leads you past the tulip fields in sprawling Southern Flevoland, with its wide open views, and around the distinctive Knardijk. The area has unusual habitation and activity such as viticulture and a pancake restaurant with a fun play area. The route passes by Zeewolde.

Tulip Art Route (2026 edition, Almere)
Starting Point: Coffee Roastery Lot61 (Stationsplein 42, Almere)

- This audio tour is in NL only.
- This route leads you past a unique exhibition of Tulip Artworks by Flevoland artists in downtown Almere with a matching audio tour.
Swifterbant hiking trail
Starting point: De Kalverschuur (Visvijverweg 31, Swifterbant)
Length: 6 or 12 km

- This route passes some tulip fields, fields, tours and interesting sites the historic River Dune area.
Bicycle routes
Bike route Dronten
This route takes you past tulip fields east of Dronten, past vast fields, fruit growers and the Hanzelijn,
including the Suydersee shopping center in Dronten.

Bike route Swifterbant-Lelystad
This route takes you through the tulip fields in Eastern Flevoland, the oldest part of the Flevopolder. Also located here is the
archaeologically interesting River Dune area, where 7,000 years ago Europe's first farmers lived.

Lelystad-Biddinghuizen bicycle route
This route takes you through the tulip fields in Eastern Flevoland, the oldest part of the Flevopolder. Through nature parks and past business activities.
A varied area with many initiatives on farmers' farms.
Tip: You can also start the route from Natuurpark Lelystad.

Cycling route Almere-Zeewolde
This route leads you past the tulip fields in the vast Southern Flevoland, with its wide open views, from the edge of Almere
to almost to the Knardijk in the middle of Flevoland.

Dronten hiking trail
This route runs through the center of Dronten to the outlying area, past some tulip fields and fruit blossoms back through the center.
